Enhancing the environment

Our target is to achieve zero environmental harm events and legal breaches. Our 10 Green Rules and Operational Environmental Standards set out our basic environmental standards that we expect everyone to meet to minimise our impact, reduce the potential for harm, and enhance wherever we can.

We promote environmental stewardship and continually monitor environmental awareness and engagement. It’s important to us that our people are engaged and empowered to identify and report environmental opportunities and risks, preventing potential incidents.

We aim to go beyond compliance, seeking to protect and enhance biodiversity where we can. Our biodiversity net gain approach considers all aspects of the project lifecycle, collaboratively supporting our clients in the delivery of their biodiversity requirements and aspirations.

Our ability to deliver Nature Based Solutions continues to grow as we recognise the need to work with nature to address social, economic and environmental challenges. The projects we’ve delivered so far have helped address numerous challenges and complement or substitute for some or all of the functionality provided by traditional engineering solutions.
